Once a part of the former City of Strathcona, Parkallen is steeped in history and character. Boasting a prime location bounded by 113th Street to the west, 72nd Ave to the north, 109th Street to the east, and 61st Ave to the south, Parkallen offers residents a peaceful and well-connected setting. Formerly known as Beau Park and Bridgeland, the community was renamed Parkallen in 1945 by the Calgary Trail Community League, a name chosen by its residents.
